Teenage Beauty, Kali Littlefield Signed on to Appear as 'Kali Kronic - Mystery Girl'

I have to blog the good news of the beautiful Florida teen Kali Littlefield who is one of the new faces to watch out for in 2008. She is only 17, but she is a very intelligent girl. The news release on her breakthrough was sent to me nearly two weeks ago, but I forgot to post it until I saw it in my archives minutes ago. The month of May has been a very busy time for me. The publication of my new book Bye, Bye Mugabe and the revisions of the drafts of the other books I am writing have been challenging. I have to be in Lagos for the press launch of Bye, Bye Mugabe and turn my attention to other literary and humanitarian projects.

Kali littlefield'a first title will be released next month June 30, 2008.
See the details below.

Kissimmee, Florida Teen Signed on to Appear as 'Kali Kronic - Mystery Girl'

KISSIMMEE, Fla., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kali Littlefield, 17, of Kissimmee, Florida, has been signed on to play the fictional title character, Kali Kronic Mystery Girl, in Kronic Entertainment's newest series of fiction books and DVDs featuring haunted hotels and destinations throughout the United States.

The book and DVD series teaches young readers about the history, geography and local folklore of the featured destinations. "The books and DVDs will be part history lesson, part travel and tourism, and a whole lot of make believe so that children will have fun reading about these places," says Steven J. Sklar, a representative for the label.

Sklar tells us that the concept for the series originated after their talent scouts spotted Kali outside a renowned haunted hotel in Mokelumne Hill, CA. At the time, Kali was on a California Roadtrip with her sister and friends.

Kali was traveling the California coastline staying at haunted hotels along the way. "I was just hanging out having a good time and not really thinking about work when the scout approached me," says Kali. Not surprisingly, the 17-year-old "didn't think twice" about accepting the offer to sign on as the star in this series.

The first book, Kali Kronic Mystery Girl: Haunted Hollywood Roadtrip, is scheduled for release on June 30th, "just in time for summer reading," says Sklar. The first 500 copies of the book will be donated to public libraries in Central Florida, and to inner city schools in Los Angeles, New York, and San Antonio, where Kali was born. Readers across the country will also be given the opportunity to register to win a Kali Kronic Mystery Girl live performance and book-signing at their school.

Kali is a graduate of Lisa Maile Image, Modeling and Acting School, Winter Park, Florida, and a former student of Celebration High School. She began her acting and modeling career in Central Florida at the age of seven when she began appearing in television commercials, film and print ads. Kali left public school for home schooling in order to pursue an entertainment career. Kali now divides her time among Kissimmee, Los Angeles, and New York. Kali Littlefield is indeed very beautiful. I went on her IMDB page to see her credits. I see that she is just starting to get roles even though her profile says she's been acting since she was six or seven years old. It's about time that someone brought back good old-fashioned reading into the lives of young children. I wish her lots of success!!! Go Kali Kronic Mystery Girl!!!
