"Basic Instinct 2": A Thriller Hotter Than Summer

If you loved Sharon Stone in "Basic Instinct 1", then you would be smitten over her in the sequel "Basic Instinct 2". Because, she is hotter and sexier than ever before.

I had my own "Sharon Stone" and for three months we were the hottest lovers in town until God delivered me from her grip. That was seven years ago.

"Basic Instinct 2" is still Stone's hot-to-trot and thrill-to-kill psycho bisexual novelist Catherine Tramell.

Viva Forever

I have been very busy since January. I released "The Language of True Love" in Nigeria. And the international edition of the collection of the greatest love quotes and types of kisses will be released next week. My darling Lindarella has raised enough money from her savings and wellwishers to publish her "Fashion, Modeling and Beauty(FM&B)Magazine and we are launching it next month. I am also the associate producer for our new film "Changing Faces" and the director Faruk Lasaki is presently in London to discuss with the British DOP and actresses. Faruk also got me a new commission to write for the Black Film Maker(BFM)magazine.

I have also discovered Keshi, the author of Viva Forever who is one of the most honest to God bloggers and very exciting writer in the blogosphere. I never get bored reading her posts. And from all the thousands of blogs I have read so far, Keshi is the number one female blogger.

Beauty is...

Beauty is...
Is the rainbow after the storm.
When all is calm.
Beauty is...
When you are so pure and true
Even when your period is due.
Beauty is...
When you still love me
Even when there is not much to see.
Beauty is...
When you are lonely in my absence
And you now realize my importance.
Beauty is...
When you still smile
Even when you cannot find that file.
Beauty is...
When you are not a bitch
And God knows you are not a witch.
Beauty is...
When you are like the sunshine
And you make me feel so fine.

I Will Not Pamper You, But I Will Love You

Yes, my dear.
I will not pamper you.
Because, what you need most is my love and not fools pampering you.

I have seen a man who pampered his girlfriend and later beat her until she fainted. And I was the one who rescued her. And I thought she had learnt her lesson. But, she went on to another man to pamper her with gifts and sweet lying tongue and she fell like when fools fall in love. And guess what happened. Armed robbers came and raped her in the presence of her man. And what did he do?
He kicked her out of his house. And they had actually gone to swear heaven on earth in the matrimonial vows of their fake marriage. And I wonder what happened to "For Better for Worse".

I guess also that most childish and foolish women prefer to be pampered than to be loved.

She is over 30 years old and she still wants me to pamper like her like a baby
And sing her a lullaby.
C'mon!Grow up woman!

Marriage is for White People

'Marriage Is for White People,' said an African-American kid.

"If Jesus Christ bought me an engagement ring, I wouldn't take it," a separated thirty-something friend told me. "I'd tell Jesus we could date, but we couldn't marry."
Washington Post

Go on and read this thought provoking article and imagine the hopelessness of the above statements.

Please, join me to pray for the African-American People lest they perish.

Read Revelation 19

Revelation 19
1. And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2. For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3. And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

4. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

6. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

8. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

9. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS".

17. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18. That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The World is Full of Lonely Women

The world is full of lonely women.
Most of them are widows of wars and other widows.
Followed by loney fat women and those the world calls ugly women.

There are indeed a few good men. And you see girls and women fighting over boys and men.

I do feel for widows more than the others.
Then, I also feel for the rejected ones.
Or abandoned ones.
Now, how can we help all these lonely women?

Personally, I care for lonely women.
But, mostly widows. Because, I am a trained crisis management counselor.
I have more time for lonely women than even my so called girlfriends.

I have also seen many girls and women who parade themselves as pretty or beautiful ladies and are posing and posturing as being more in demand than those they label as "ugly". And I do make fun of them. Because, as the popular saying goes, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

I have two sisters and they are beautiful and very comfortable. They look like my father and their respective mothers. My father was a very handsome man and my mother was a beautiful woman. And my mother directed me in the choice of my girlfriends. And she always said no girl or woman could bluff me. So, I have even bluffed the so called beautiful and pretty girls and women in Nigeria. I befriended the most beautiful girls and ladies in Nigeria. Even Tanya Hume-Sotomi who was once the most powerful woman in Nigeria and the author of "The General's Wife". Because, she was formerly the madam of the most dreaded military leader in the history of Nigeria, the late dictator Gen. Sani Abacha. Her husband, the late Brigadier-General Sotomi was once the Camp Commandant of Gen. Abacha. And Tanya is actually from a wealthy American family in Park Avenue, New York. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world and Halle Berry reminds me of her. But Halle Berry cannot boast of Tanya's awesome silky hair. But she is now a widow. And I wonder how she would be missing her beloved husband. Because, Tanya told me how she often slept in his pyjamas whenever he was away from home and she had to sleep alone.

Who will comfort all the lonely women in the world? Who sleep with tears on their pillows.

How God Sees Princess Diana

I have decided not to comment on the late Princess Diana of England, because of the complexities of her history and to avoid indulging in petty personalities.

Here is a book written by Rev. Edmond Locklear,Jr.
You can read it.

But whether Princess Diana went to heaven or not is not for anybody to discuss. Because, no human has the right to play God in deciding who will go to heaven and who will not go there. That is strictly the business of God. Case closed.

- Distinctively different.
- Prophecy spoken when Diana married came true.
- Will prophecy take Prince William?

Has Q&A, word game. Will bless your home with greater faith.

It's the Christian's look at Diana.

Sorry. Your Enemy is My Friend

I have composed the following poems in memory of Tom Fox who made the supreme sacrifice when he paid the supreme price for peace in Iraq where he was murdered after he was kidnapped along with three other members of the Christian Peacemaker Teams.

Sorry. Your Enemy is My Friend.

If you have chosen to hate
I am sorry I cannot be your playmate
Because, I have chosen to live in love and peace
To treat my fellow humans with fairness and justice
To forbid malice and prejudice
And to abhor all acts of violence
This is my lot and my sacrifice
And everybody has a price.

Sorry. Your enemy is my friend.

Tom Fox: Martyr of Peace

The dove bearing the olive branch
Wanders about in the skies
Flapping its wings as it flies
For there is no where to perch
Alas! All the trees have been cut down
The cockcrows can no longer crow at dawn
The ill wind has blown out the torch
I heard the echoes of the Banshee
In the monodies of our elegy
As the dove flutters on the body of Tom Fox
And the Phoenix perches on the Pandora Box.
Alas! The peacemaker is slain
Slain in the field of blood in Baghdad
Where everybody seems to have gone mad.
But, no martyr dies in vain
For I can still hear the echoes of your clarinet in Virginia
The chorus of our Redemption Song will echo all over America.

I Sing A New Song For Your Birthday

I sing a new song for a New year
To the one I love
To my Malaysian dove
Who has shown me her enchanted face
But I am yet to hear her velvet voice.
Yet, she has spoken to me in a million and one figures of speech
She is so near to me, but yet she is millions of miles away from my reach.

Yet, whom I have chosen to love I will always truly love
For my love is as boundless as the expanse of the infinite universe
For even if the whole world falls apart
I will still treasure you in my immaculate heart
And I bring you the white rose of the dawn of spring
I will sing the new song I have chosen to sing
In the sonata of the birthday of your New year.

The Return of Hadiyat

Hadiyat my love
How can they understand the mystery of the Phoenix?
When they don't know the riddle of the Sphinx?
For I found you in the dungeon
Where I slew the fiery Red Dragon
In the land of the Crescent and the Moon.

Before the masked Saracens led you astray
Wandering in the Sahara in a solitary way.
And I feared the worst of all fears
As I followed the trail of your crystal tears.

For you prayed for my coming
In the dawn of the morning
And I came on the back Pegasus
After my conquest of Cerberus.

They did not know that before you were born
Your destiny was sealed in the golden horn
In the golden horn of the unicorn.

Welcome back my beloved one.Come to bed to rest.
And tell me the fables and tales of the East.

First's Exclusive Interview: Keisha White

“Why do you come here, when you know I've got troubles in enough? Why do you call me, when you know I can't answer the phone?” she asks her forbidden lover in the song. Keisha's powerful vocal delivery cements the words to "The Weakness In Me" deep into the minds of every listener.

'The Weakness In Me' is Keisha's own interpretation of a beautiful love song first recorded by acclaimed British artist, Joan Armatrading in 1975. The song is an emotionally charged ballad based on a young woman's tale on her guilt-ridden relationship with another man.

2006-02-22 13:45:00

By Sarah Williams

She is a rising star in the States, but right now, North London's finest, Keisha White, who has been compared to Ms Dynamite and often called 'the great White hope' is staying in the UK to finish what she started and ride the wave of wonderful praise she's been receiving ever since the release of her debut album, 'Seventeen' early last year.

With a honeyed voice that drips with soul and sounds much more mature than her 19 years, its not surprising that Keisha was signed to Warner Records at an age when most teenagers are worried about their clothes and what makeup to wear. After all she was only 16.

As a girl growing up, singing was always a part of the teenager's life so it would have been unnatural for her to do anything else, especially since her mother was also a singer and a major influence on her daughters chosen career path.

"My mum was the main person who inspired me to do music. I used to go to shows and sing with her. I was about 13 years old when I fully realised I wanted to do it professionally and I think its something that was always in me. It was inevitable that I would do it too."

Like her daughter, Keisha's mother was a professional singer with more than a touch of soul. She sang songs that were in the same vain as 80s soul sensation Chaka Khan and the formidable Aretha Franklin and this, Keisha believes, is definitely where her "soul came from."

After wowing the industry with her ambition and amazing vocal talent, (one particular highlight was on Paul Oakenfold's 'The Harder They Come') Keisha went on to tour with Lemar, Jamelia, The Black Eyed Peas and record a slick genre hopping debut album at the tender age of 17, which resulted in her being nominated for a British Urban Music Award.

She may have set the UK music industry buzzing, but it was our American counterparts who really took her to their hearts.

After spending time in the US, Keisha's collaborated with hip-hopper Cassidy on last years hit 'Don't Care Who Knows.' She co-wrote songs on her debut with one of the hottest writers, Balewa Muhammad, who's responsible for hits by Christian Aguilera and Whitney Houston and she's worked with one of most respected and in demand producers in the industry, Scott Storch (Beyonce, Christian Aguilera, Dr Dre).

The producer extraordinaire even put Janet Jackson's last album on hold to work with her.

"Scott's a great guy," She tells me, like working with the greatest urban producer in the world is something we can all one day be lucky enough to do. "He's one of the most rated producers in the hip-hop urban world and he's a great musician. I think he really liked me because he wanted to work with someone who wasn't really established in Britain. We got on well and got some fantastic records out of it."

It's not surprising that, like many of Britain's talented urban artists, the States seem to have noticed and embraced her soulful talent a hell of a lot quicker than we have, which ultimately is a real shame for us.

Americans, Keisha says, not only love her voice but also who she is and what she's about. She puts this down to that fact that while in a flagging urban music industry, Britain struggles to nurture their artists to their full potential, "Americans get the plot."

Lucky in Love: A New Book on Finding Love

Love at second sight
By Susan Rabin and Barbara Lagowski

As an author, therapist and flirting expert, let me share this story with you:

Tara, 31, was looking for a guy who appreciated art and liked physical activity. And most of all, she was looking for a man she could talk to who would talk back—not from his vocal chords but from his heart. Esteban — the professor Tara had been set up with by her friend Jen — had none of these qualities. Esteban peered at her and said little. Tara sat quietly, hoping that silence would draw out her reticent date. The date, of course, was their last.

But a week later, Tara was at a street fair when she saw Jen salsa dancing with Esteban! Tara was shocked. Who was this wild-and-crazy guy? And why had Esteban been such a stick-in-the-mud with her? Jen shared: Esteban didn’t like talking about himself, but he was a font of information about history—and a wonderfully enthusiastic dancer. Esteban had come to life at the street fair. He wasn’t just erudite, he was loads of fun. Esteban was just the kind of guy she had told Jen she was seeking. Why hadn’t she seen that when she had a chance?

The myth of love at first sight
Love at first sight is the cosmetically-enhanced superstar in the emotional pantheon. It is showy; explosively, totally overblown; and it gets all the media. Think of the way it is portrayed: Two hapless people are miraculously drawn into each other’s orbits. Their eyes meet. Their hearts open. Bells ring, birds sing. But how many of us are so busy listening for bells that we never hear the quiet “click” that signals deep, lasting affection?

It gives us pause when we hear someone say, “I married my best friend.” Finding both passion and devotion in a single person can seem impossible until we take a closer look at our attitudes. Many of us believe that love “happens,” but friendship develops. That kind of thinking eliminates all of those worthy prospects who capture our hearts day by day.

So your date was not love at first sight. Is he or she worth a second look? Consider these eye-opening romantic strategies.

Don’t be the typecasting type.
“I like tall, slender blonds,” my friend Vicki announced. That’s fine. I have an inclination for classical art—but that doesn’t keep me from appreciating a cubist sculpture.

If you feel that you can discern which partner might be right for you on first glance or from across the room, look at your belief system. Does the physical type you prefer reveal something about the image you want to portray? What physical characteristics denote success to you? Sensitivity? Uber-cool?

Your happiness is at stake here. The choosing of a new friend should at least merit the consideration you would put into selecting new shoes: Style is a factor, but comfort is key. It may take a bit of aimless strolling to know if the fit is right.

Focus on what’s really important.
Some people come to us for a reason; others are important to us for a season. Which type of person is the one you are with? If a fling is in order, throw caution to the wind. But if it’s lasting love you’re looking for, then friendship and communication must develop. Give a new friendship time to take its course.

Set to “defrost.” Wait.
Even in this age, when confession is considered good for the soul, there are still many people who do not spill their guts until they’ve gotten to know you. If he seems reserved, maybe he’s saving himself for someone who’ll put in a little effort. If she is the kind of nut you might like, but a tough one to crack, maybe she’s looking for the right person to open up to. People don’t warm at the same rates. Give your partner a little time to acclimate.

Are you being too picky?
Think of the last 20 men or women you’ve dated. Go through it, checking off the men or women you were attracted to. If you feel attracted to at least half of the men/women you date, you are open to a healthy range of types and personalities. But if you are having a hard time mustering up interest in the people who want to see you, you may have set your sights especially high.

Know the difference between a harmless habit and a deal-breaker.
Something may be bugging you about a recent date, but is it a permanent or passing issue? I can’t tell you how many men and women I know how gave a perfectly nice date the boot because he or she was too chubby, couldn’t dance, didn’t like museums, was a vegetarian, or showed some other characteristic that might evolve. Meanness or intellectual dullness may be a permanent condition, but hair, hips and habits are subject to change. Don’t be quick to say good-bye forever to someone who might mellow over time.

Consider a change of venue.
If he’s a dud over dinner, if she’s a clod on the tennis court, it is possible that these are not the places where he or she can shine! Set up a second date, but allow him or her to choose the location or the activity. Even a jewel loses its luster when it’s not in the right setting.

When The Poetry of Boobs, Love and Sex Has No Domain

My baby just told me that she is still weak after some injections.
She is on medication for malaria. And she has not been able to go to work for over a week now. She couldn't even speak aloud. I am now worried and I feel like going back to Lagos to be with her. Because, Linda needs me now.

Right now, I am not thinking of poetry or some upright boobs with arrowhead tits. Yes, Love is the ether of sex when sex is an expression of true love. And there is a mysterious kind of love that has no domain. No searches on Google or Yahoo can produce the results. Because, there is no vocabulary in any dictionary that you can find to describe this mysterious love.

This love is made in 12th Heaven.

My Name is Annya: I am more than just a Number

I have been spreading the information on the plight of the children of Chernobyl since February last year and I have a pledge to raise public awareness for the Children of Chernobyl Relief Fund.

The information below is to draw more attention to the lessons we have to learn from the tragedies of history.

No more Chernobyls

Annya is one of hundreds of thousands of victims living the devastating aftermath of Chernobyl. For Annya and for the thousands of children like her, you need to speak out and say NO more nuclear, NO more Chernobyls. If you don’t, who will?

Call on United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and IAEA Director-General ElBharadei to stop its promotion of a dirty, dangerous industry and focus its resources exclusively on its critical mission of disarmament and world peace.

You can also add a personal comment opposing nuclear power and we will deliver these to the UN.

If you want to do more, please:

Call on your government to spend your taxes on safe, sustainable and efficient renewable energy sources, NOT on dangerous, dirty and unnecessary nuclear power
No More Chernobyls.

My Leading Lady

I am back to my base on Bonny Island after spending seven days on Lagos Island. And I went to Lagos in response to my leading lady Linda Ikeji and to address urgent issues on the security and unity of our great country Nigeria.

We are still working on the Fashion, Modeling and Beauty (FM&B)Magazine and we have decided to get a loan, because we need $30,000 more. Linda says FM&B must be of the best quality and quality does not come cheap.

She also had malaria, but she recovered before I left Lagos.

She is my closest female companion in Nigeria and we have been close companions since 1997.

I am very proud of her and at 25 Linda Ikeji is one of the most hard working young ladies in the world. She bought a car for her mother and encouraged her mother to return to the university for her graduate studies. Linda is also supporting her younger sister Laura who is in college and working hard on her debut CD of rap music.

We believe that only the best is good enough for Nigeria.
