"You Really Shouldn't Say 'I Love You' Unless You Mean It" - Jessica - Age 8

This is by a fellow traveller Ladan Lashkari.

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds: "What does love mean?"

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think...

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

~ Rebecca - age 8

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

~ Billy - age 4

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

~ Terri - age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

~ Danny - age 7

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss."

~ Emily - age 8

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."

~ Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."

~ Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."

~ Noelle - age 7

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."

~ Tommy - age 6

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling.

He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."

~ Cindy - age 8

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

~ Elaine - age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."

~ Chris - age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."

~ Mary Ann - age 4

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." (Now THIS is love!)

~ Lauren - age 4

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an image!)

~ Karen - age 7

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross."

~ Mark - age 6

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Sex Has Been Overrated by Idiots and Scam Artists

Sex Has Been Overrated by Idiots and Scam Artists

The most important purpose for sex is procreation.
PERIOD and nothing is more important than that. But the over bloated billion dollar sex industry is full of deliberate ambiguous and erroneous information on sex to swindle millions of ignorant people who have been lied to and misled to accept that the only solutions to their ignorance are the products being hawked and sold by producers and writers of various sex products and services offered by the sex industry such as aphrodisiacs, sex toys, pornographic publications on the joys of sex. But after long and thorough surveys, the truth is most of these sex products and services are powered by greed. The authors of different books on how to have better sex, orgasm, enlarge your penis and other products that have made promiscuity the degenerate popular culture of a sex saturated society are not different from scam artists. Most of these authors claiming to be experts don’t even know how to make love to a woman from I have seen them showing in their numerous books and videos!

If you carefully survey their adult publications and videos on sex, you would be wondering if they are showing men how to torture women and not how to make love to them.
In fact, honestly all the porn sites should be scrapped and yanked off the internet and cable TV stations, because you don’t need them!

Their biggest lie is on ORGASM.
They lie that the only way most women can have orgasm is when the men use the different methods in their books or use their sex toys. But heaven knows that they are bloody liars and scam artists running the racket in the sex industry.

See Angelina Jolie Having Orgasm from "Taking Lives".

The most powerful sex organ is not your penis or vagina, but your brain and God has so wired all the other sexual organs to be controlled by and from your brain.
Every woman knows that she does not even need any man to have multiple orgasms as many times as she wants.

You don’t need sexual intercourse or any man licking or sucking your vagina to have orgasm. So, just throw that book on Cunninglus into the trashcan, because you don’t need it to give any woman orgasm. No human tongue can get to the location of the G Spot, except your finger!

Only lazy men and women need porn videos and sex toys to enjoy sex. Use your brains! My dear, it is all in your brains and not even in your loins.

Most of the concentration of men making love to women is an obsession with the vagina. They just think it is all about thrusting the penis in and out of the vagina. Most of them don’t even know what to do with her ears, neck, breasts, belly, hands and legs. They just kiss her lips, suck the breasts and then rush into her vagina and rest there as if that is all that matters most to a woman. How wrong they are!
Do you know that you can give a woman orgasm without even kissing, sucking her breasts or copulation?

There is nothing like a woman cannot have orgasm, but only she does not know how?

In a survey conducted for the book The Big 'O' written by Christine Webber, psychotherapist and life coach and Dr David Delvin, GP and family planning specialist they found out the following facts on women.
• 47 per cent climaxed for the first time through masturbation
• 32 per cent through sexual intercourse
• 20 per cent through petting
• 1 per cent while sleeping.
They also found out that the most common age of first orgasm was 18, but that it could also be as late as the 40s due to ignorance, because virtually every woman is wired by nature to have orgasm!

Every woman knows her G Spot.
No my dear, it is not the clitoris.
So even if the clitoris has been cut off in barbaric female genital mutilation, a woman can still have orgasm from the G Spot.

It is the bean-shaped, spongy tissue of the paraurethral gland, which is analogous to the male prostate. The actual area is only about the size of a quarter, but it feels rougher to the touch than the surrounding tissue. Because the G-spot is composed of erectile tissue, it swells up when blood rushes to it -- especially if you learn how to master the woman's G-spot effectively.

It is located about one to two inches back from the vaginal opening inside the front vaginal wall. The "front" wall is the wall of the vagina on the same side as her belly button.

To locate and master the woman's G-spot, face your partner while she is lying on her back and insert your index or long middle finger into her vagina as far as it will easily go. Then crook it up toward yourself in a "come hither" motion, sliding your fingertip along the top of the vagina until you find an area that is rougher than the rest of that vaginal wall. (Make sure you have your fingernails clipped short and buffed before you do this -- sharp fingernails will definitely spoil the effort.) This rough or slightly ridged area is the "G-spot," and touching it will often cause a woman to react with surprise or pleasure.

f you don't get a reaction, don't be too shy to ask her if she feels especially sensitive when you touch what you think is the spot. You may need to use a fair amount of pressure to find the G-spot because it is located within, not on the outside of, the vaginal wall.

Sometimes it helps to use your other hand on the outside of the mons pubis (the hairy area above the pubic bone) to lightly massage the skin in the area where your crooked finger is touching to intensify the effect. And since not all women are G-spot sensitive, don't get discouraged if you can't get a special reaction.

Women can also intensify their ability to have G-spot orgasms by learning to contract their pelvic muscles, known as Kegel exercises.

Nigerian Youths Are Too Lazy To Read And Degenerating Intellectually

Nigerian youths.

When Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, a former Director General of The Bureau of Public Enterprises and also the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja said Nigerian youths are too lazy to read and reflect, many of them attacked him. But heaven knows that he is only saying the truth.

Majority of Nigerian youths are indeed too lazy to read and prefer to waste hours of quality time on chatting and gossiping on their smart phones and on social network sites costing them millions of naira daily and making the ISPs and GSM telecom operators richer by billions. But they hardly spend money on buying books to read, except the compulsory text books and handouts they have to study to pass their compulsory examinations for the qualifications they need to secure their preferred occupations and professions just to earn subsistence income and pay some bills. Such basic lifestyle has not done much for their intellectual development and in fact contributes little to the GDP and GNP of Nigeria, because they spend their incomes mostly on imported consumables that only make Nigeria to lose trillions of dollars on imported foods and goods and not on creative and productive economies of nation building.

The absence of an active reading culture has made majority of Nigerian youths to degenerate intellectually and lose the essential values and virtues of human dignity, integrity and nobility. That is why there is a prevalent state of social decadence among the majority of Nigerian youths who have made themselves underachievers and unemployable where skilled labour is required, that is why majority of them are jobless and lacking the intellectual capabilities to be creative and productive, except rushing into get-rich quick schemes and scams online and offline. And even thousands of those who claim to be artistes in the entertainment industry of movies and music are not skilled and have only become mediocre actors and actresses; mediocre hip hop artistes and dancers who don't even know how to dance or sing as shown in their bad music videos and music CDs making more noise than sense.

The tragedies of our intellectually indolent youths are seen on the street as they engage in various crimes and malpractices creating more social, economic and political problems worsening the Nigerian crisis.
The boys and girls with below average IQs behave like dullards and idiots and the best activities they are engaged in are addictions to following foreign soccer leagues and championships and indulging in rampant promiscuous sexual practices increasing the sero-prevalence rates of STDs and HIV/AIDs to make Nigeria the third worst affected country in the world.
See the fact sheet on HIV Infection in Nigeria and Youths Vulnerability on

The sooner Nigerian youths start reading and reading good books, the better, safer, richer and wiser they would be in their occupations and professions for the nation building of a New Nigeria in the leadership of Africa among the comity of nations.

On Racism in America and other Facts of Discrimination Among Us

Well, white folks still treat black folks better than Arabs.
Arabs don't like blacks at all and they have massacred many black Sudanese in Darfur.
America is still better than Europe, Asia, Middle East, Australia and North Africa.
Will white Britons elect a Black Prime Minister or let any of the royal Princesses wed a black man?
White Americans have accepted more Blacks than other races.
All White Americans cannot love Blacks till the end of the world.
As all Muslims cannot love all Christians till Judgement Day.
We cannot please everybody.

We all bleed red blood and our brains and hearts have the same color.

Racism is caused by ignorance and insecurity.
The most enlightened people are not racists and will never be racists.
But intellectually immature and insecure people will remain narrow-minded.

We blacks have done more collateral damages to ourselves than our White colonial rulers. The Nigerian civil war claimed over a million lives, Rwandan genocide claimed over 800, 000 lives, the Darfur genocide has claimed over 400, 000 lives and the war in Congo is claiming thousands of lives before our very eyes.

How many blacks are in college compared to jail?
Law Professor Michelle Alexander made headlines with her statement that more Blacks reside “in prison or jail, on probation or parole than were enslaved in 1850, before the Civil War began. ”
Only education can set us free from every discrimination by race, class or creed.

AXE Tells Guys and Girls to "Stride with Pride"

AXE Tells Guys and Girls to “Stride with Pride”
Brand Aims to Overturn “Walk of Shame” Stigma with U.S. Creative Spot

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. (October 26, 2012) /PRNewswire/ — AXE, a leader in men’s grooming, launched its “Getting Dressed” creative spot in the U.S. today, which takes a lighter look at a couple’s interaction the morning after a romantic chance encounter.

The digital launch comes right before one of the biggest annual occasions that bring guys and girls together – Halloween – and the brand is taking to the streets of New York City to help turn the pop culture term “walk of shame” into a more positive and optimistic “stride of pride.”

"A recent AXE survey showed that 72% of young adults are more likely to approach an attractive guy/girl while in costume, and this confidence is one of the reasons many don’t make it home on Halloween,” said Nick Gonzales, brand manager for AXE. “Regardless of where these guys and girls spend the night, AXE wants to provide them with everything they need to look, smell and feel their best during their ‘Stride of Pride,’ especially if still in costume from the night before.”

AXE branded trucks and ambassadors will be positioned throughout NYC’s annual Halloween parade, and stationed at high traffic locations the morning after, offering “Stride of Pride” confidence kits containing items that will help make the best of the morning commute, such as water, gum and AXE deodorant sticks. AXE ambassadors will be in costume, so visitors to the trucks will be in good company.

For more information about the AXE “Stride of Pride” activation, including specifics on the truck locations, follow AXE on Facebook and Twitter – hashtag #strideofpride – for live updates and related content.

Additional AXE “Stride of Pride” survey results include:

40% of young adults have done the “walk of shame” at least once in their lives
68% of young adults would be more embarrassed if they smelled bad rather than looked bad on their “Stride of Pride”
Nearly 70% of young adults agree that wearing costumes makes them less inhibited
Almost 30% of young adults surveyed are attracted to guys/girls who are dressed in uniform for Halloween (i.e. police or firefighter costume)

The “Getting Dressed” creative spot was developed by BBH London and was first launched outside the U.S. in 2004. To view the “Getting Dressed” creative spot, visit

How Can You Help Your Married Ex-girlfriend Who Is Unhappy in Marriage?

She would have been his wife, but he was flirting with other girls and not ready to settle down many years ago before he left town for greener pastures.
Then in his absence she got married and when he returned to town she could not hide the truth from him.
She would have been happy married to him, because she was unhappy being married to a man she did not love.
Her husband did not do anything bad or wrong, but she found him boring and unromantic.

How would you help her?
Telling her to try and be happy with a man she does not love is out of the question.
Lest we forget, she is not the only one in such a dilemma.
Many of them don't have the courage to leave, because their family and religion will not approve it.
They are among the Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.

One couple lived together without making love for years until her husband died.
Another spent more time with her children and totally loveless with her husband and they only had s-e-x for s-e-x sake.
They never went on vacations and went out together to the movies or beaches thrice a year.
One could not even walk with her husband on the street.

Have you seen similar cases?

The Sad Story of Lucy Gilmore

Photo Credit: Black Girls Don't Cry. The Super Sista.

The Sad Story of Lucy Gilmore

She was so beautiful
Before she became bad
She was so wonderful
Before she became mad
She was the attraction of many guys on her street
They wanted to go out with her, but she would not
She even snubbed the poster boys with good looks.
She said they were all in her bad books.
But one fateful day, she went round the bend
She was no longer the same and could not even pretend
She was now begging every guy to be laid
But none would dare to take her to bed
None of them wanted her anymore
And this the sad story of Lucy Gilmore.

Shomolu, Lagos, Nigeria.

PS: This poem meant to be a rock song is based on a true life story of a young beautiful girl I knew who lived with her parents in the house next to an uncle’s house in Lagos, Nigeria. It was a great pity as she had to drop out of the university and was roaming the streets. Her mental illness broke the heart of her parents who adored her as their only daughter and the most brilliant straight A student in the neighborhood. She was very proud and snobbish and would not even talk to any of the boys on her street until her predicament and was now a public nuisance as she lost all her intelligence and pride and was now even willing to sleep with any boy or man. But they were now afraid of even getting close to her.

Halle Berry invites you to get closer...

Halle Berry invites you to get closer…

NEW YORK, NY, October 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ —

The Scent of a Woman
A shared connection.
A harmony of desire.

Introducing Closer by Halle Berry, the new scent of attraction for her.
“I wanted to create a unique fragrance for women that would also appeal to men,” says Halle Berry. “Scent is very closely linked with desire and attraction and I love the idea that a fragrance can bring a man and a woman together. Closer creates a new level of intimacy through the power of scent.”

Closer Encounters
Introducing a truly extra-ordinary olfactory creation. Closer by Halle Berry is an undeniably fresh floral fragrance featuring a traditionally masculine fougere accord. Renowned master perfumer Jacques Cavallier perfectly married the opposing fragrance facets, enveloping the masculine fougere accord with a luscious feminine blend of violet flowers and mimosa, one of Halle’s favorite flowers, and a presence in all of her perfumes. A rich, warm center is surrounded by delicate notes and a bubbly ozonic top accord, it melds seamlessly into the skin and leaves a complex and intriguing aura. The result: a woodsy floral fougere that is utterly modern and original. Closer by Halle Berry borrows from the masculine and is perfected for women.

A Closer Look
Just as the fragrance has an appeal that extends to both men and women, so too does the packaging design. Streamlined and modern, it is an instant classic. Both the bottle and the carton are adorned with an intricate lined design that mimics the contours of the body, both male and female. This provocative curvature shows up on the elegant prism-shaped bottle, creating an enticing play of opposites that achieves a perfect unity. The signature HB logo is discreetly embossed throughout the packaging, a subtle nod to the fragrance’s iconic creator.

Up Close and Personal
In the provocatively beautiful advertising campaign photographed by Alexei Hay and
directed by Francis Lawrence, Halle Berry plays with the same gender roles of her fragrance. Donning a man’s white oxford button-down accented with her monogrammed initials and tie, a sliver of her black, lacy bra visible, Halle stands confidently, eyes transfixed on the camera, a pair of bare, muscular male arms wrapped around her body. Her fragrance draws them together, a mutual olfactive attraction that cannot be denied. The bold, sexy campaign ultimately explores the innate sexual chemistry between a man and woman, triggered and magnified by the power of scent.

Closer by Halle Berry is not only a departure from her previous fragrances, but from the sometimes-staid traditions of the industry as a whole. Closer marks a rare and fresh, approach to women’s fragrance.
One that is as alluring for men as it is for women.
One that uniquely interprets desire.
One that begs for you to become… Closer

My Dear, Your Partner Has Another Phone Number You Don't Know?

My dear, what would you do if you discovered that your boyfriend or girlfriend had another phone number you never knew?

Of course that meant he or she had another life you did not know and he or she did not want you to know about it.

Unfaithful partners who think they are smarter than you have secret phone numbers they use for their other relationships.
This saves them from your interruptions or investigations like those who don't want you to use the mobile phone tracker to find out their whereabouts.
But for how long?

Like a girl who told her boyfriend and family that she was going for a travel agency's course outside Lagos.
She lied that she would be having the one week course on tourism in Calabar, but she was only going to Calabar to keep a date with one of her customers from 2go who agreed to pay her N20, 000 daily to sleep with him at a guest house.
She was prostituting outside the vicinity of her boyfriend and family.

During one of our HIV/AIDS Control and Prevention programs for commercial sex workers at the Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar, I met a call girl who confessed that she operated in Calabar whilst she lived a normal life in Lagos running her hairdressing salon.

When I was doing the research for my documentary on the Niger Delta crisis, I met another call girl in the Monkey Village on Bonny Island who confessed that she came from Warri to operate at the NLNG on Bonny, Rivers State. She shared a one room apartment with her fellow prostitutes, but said she had a two bed room flat back home in Delta State.
She told me that she had a steady boyfriend in Warri, but always lied to him that she had contracts at the NLNG Bonny. Yes, she had regular contracts to sleep with her customers who were expatriates and even the married Nigerian men on Bonny Island.

Some girls have told me that they used other mobile phones for their runs which must be hidden from their boyfriends.
Whenever they are busy on their runs, they simply switch off their normal mobile phones. And of course they have enough excuses and lies to tell their boyfriends and concerned members of their families, uncles, parents and other guardians. And the GSM phone networks have automated replies they always applied to support their excuses and lies.
"The subscriber is not reachable."
"No Network."
"Network busy."
"Number Busy."

Oh, sorry Jolly. I was on the site of the quarry at the Nigeria LNG Bonny when you called.
I always switch off my phone whenever I want to rest after work.
I just quench my BB when I dey study o.
Nework bad for that side o. In fact, I have to climb to the balcony to receive calls.
Hiss. No mind these silly telecom service providers. They are overloading their network.

O, Tunde. I misplaced my phone. That must have been the time you were trying to reach me. I am sorry.
I have been very ill. In fact, I was on drip for days.

The lies runs girlfriends have been using their mobile phones to tell will make heavens weep.
No wonder we have been having torrential rainfalls that flooded several states, destroying homes and lives and with over 600, 000 displaced people. grin

I received emails from members of Nairaland who wanted to know how to use the mobile phone tracker to monitor the whereabouts of their partners.
The whole works are on

If your partner has a secret phone number used on another mobile phone, the spy monitor can still trace the whereabouts.
Imagine your boyfriend lying that he was not in Lagos, but the signals reported that he was at KFC in Yaba, Lagos! grin
What the mobile tracker does is to stop all those who use their mobile phones to lie about their locations.

If your partner has another phone number you don't know, then he or she is unfaithful to you in one way or another.
The following is quite amusing.

The cheat's app: How adulterers can make lovers’ texts and calls disappear at the shake of a phone.

Cate, or Call and Text Eraser, creates an invisible log of calls and text messages and hides numbers from the contacts list
If someone walks in while the cheat is reading their illicit texts, a simple shake of the phone will make it all disappear
American entrepreneur Neil Desai won $70,000 on American equivalent of Dragon's Den to develop his idea
So far the app has been downloaded 10,000 times - mostly by women

STAGES OF BEAUTY: Now You Can Look 10 Years Younger!

The results are in! Age-specific skincare is helping thousands of women see results from their beauty regimen. New research shows that age is the largest determining factor of how skin responds to skincare products.

Wrinkle Research Uncovered: Study Reveals Shocking Skincare Solution
Learn about a new approach to getting more youthful skin.

  • Decreased appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Increased Hydration
  • Reduced Redness
  • Increased Radiance
  • Improved Elasticity

CAMBRIDGE) - A new study has revealed a shocking truth about the anti-aging skincare industry: companies have been pouring millions of dollars into the development of products that claim to fight wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging, but most are still getting it all wrong. The majority of skincare products on the market neglect to take into account one of the most important determinants of your skincare needs: your age.

How many signs of aging
is your skin showing right now?

There’s no denying the physical reality that our skin changes as we age. Hormonal changes in each new decade of our lives lead to a restructuring of the composition of the skin. The collagen, elastin, and moisture barrier that keep the skin firm and elastic when we are younger are drastically depleted as we enter our 40s and 50s. This means that the skincare needs of a 20-year-old are vastly different from those of a 50-year-old. Unfortunately, most anti-aging products take a “one-size-fits-all” approach that doesn’t fully meet anyone’s needs.

That is, until now. An MIT-trained scientist in Cambridge spent years perfecting a new age-specific skincare treatment. Now, the formulas are complete, and the results of an eight-week consumer study are overwhelmingly positive. Age-specific treatment works, and it is changing the game in the skincare industry.

Real Women. Real Results.

80 women between the ages of 21 and 69 participated in the consumer study. The women were grouped into the following age categories: 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s+. Each woman was provided with a unique, age-specific treatment cream. Soon, the results began to show.

Within the first two weeks, 70% of women noticed an increase in their skin’s hydration. Incredibly, over 40% of women already noticed a decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in just two weeks. The age-specific treatment helped women in their 20s protect their skin from damage, while women in their 50s saw increased hydration and a significant decrease in fine lines and wrinkles. By the end of the study, nearly 100% of women were reporting increased hydration and radiance in their skin. For women in their 50s+, 100% reported they would recommend the product to friends.

The First Age-Specific Skincare Solution
Using data from the study, the MIT-trained scientist went on to create Stages of Beauty, a skincare company that specifically formulates each of its products to meet the needs of women at different ages. With four decade-specific lines, Stages of Beauty offers a solution for everyone—from women in their 20s looking to fight damage and fend off premature signs of aging, to women in their 50s+ who want to restore firmness, elasticity, and radiance to their skin.
If you want to keep or regain your youthful glow and see results that aren’t possible with other products, you owe it to yourself to give Stages of Beauty a chance. Just select the product that has been perfectly formulated for your age and discover the difference that age-specific skincare can make.

Beyoncé Loves Ruthie Davis®

Beyoncé in Ruthie Davis® exotic Odyssey shoes.

An all American girl with a passion for design, Ruthie Davis explores sensuality and strength with an emphasis on silhouette, innovative materials and color. Magnifying tactile sensations and challenging convention, Davis offers new rules for governing elegance and femininity, creating shoes that are decidedly sexy, distinctly Davis.

Connecticut bred Davis earned a liberal and visual arts degree from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine before going on to get her MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. With a love for fashion that has permeated her creative process and informed her business sensibility, Davis set out to start her career in design.

Davis began her career at Rebook, where she revamped the Classics brand with dynamic designs, appealing to the discriminating taste of the fashion consumer. She then moved onto UGG Australia, where she breathed new life into the brand, transforming the sleepy surfer boot into a fashion cult item. She offered a fresh perspective, innovative designs, and a marketing plan that took the brand to unforeseen heights. Next for Davis was Tommy Hilfiger, where the go-to girl in the industry for color, novelty and innovation headed the women's footwear division, conceiving and launching Tommy Girl shoes, a new category for the company.

After a successful career of reinventing some of the most recognizable footwear and fashion companies, Davis entered the luxury footwear market, with the launch of her eponymous line in 2006, creating a brand that has captured the attention of the fashion elite, and grown on a global level.

Renowned for her architectural shapes and luxurious mix of materials, coupled with uncompromising quality and a vivid color palette, Ruthie Davis offers a unique fusion of power and sensuality that can be summed up in one single shoe. Conceived in New York and constructed in Italy, each shoe has a point of view, as well as a point of difference, with its DNA rooted in creativity.

Each shoe is sketched from the hand of Davis herself, a fantasy of high creation, coupled with detailed construction, resulting in shoes made for sharp women with places to go. With devoted fans including Beyonce, Penelope Cruz and Lady Gaga, it is clear that Ruthie Davis shoes are for women with a strong sense of style and self, much like the designer.

The brand is represented in many of the best retail doors worldwide including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Harvey Nichols, Luisa Via Roma and 10 Corso Como, spanning over 30 countries and 70 locations worldwide. Ruthie Davis shoes have been featured in New York Fashion Week runway presentations by Alice + Olivia, David Meister, Joanna Mastroianni, Dennis Basso and Doo Ri.

In addition to the fashion and entertainment industries, the New Britain Museum of American Art recognized Ruthie's forceful impact on modern design and recently exhibited her shoe designs in a retrospective titled, Ruthie Davis: COUTURE FUTURISTIC DESIGN. Ruthie is also one of 20 global shoe designers asked to create a collaborative capsule collection for Swarovski "Sparkling Contrasts", which will be showcased at a ceremony in Beijing, China in September 2012.
