Jean Paul Gaultier - Under African Skies

This summer we find Jean Paul Gaultier's CLASSIQUE and LE MALE in a sun- scorched land, amidst the heat and bewitching rhythms of Africa. She is a queen, a sensual temptress wearing an ornament of wood and glass beads. He is a manly, sensitive Maasai warrior sporting a solar talisman.

In the CLASSIQUE 3.3 oz Alcohol-Free Summer Fragrance ($60.00 USD), Rose flirts with Orange Blossom, enlivened by a zest of Clementine and Sicilian lemon. A bouquet of pure flowers including Arabian Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Lily of the Valley and White Iris blooms in the middle notes. The heady base notes feature an accord of vanilla absolute, fresh musk and amber.

The LE MALE 4.2 oz Stimulating Body Spray ($56.00 USD) is enriched with mint, ginseng and ginger water. Refreshing agents create an icy effect - a cocktail of pure energy.

Issey Miyake - A Dream in Water

This year, the hip, young Parisian designer Santiago Marotto has cast his creative eye on the Issey Miyake Eaux d'Ete and envisioned a "Reve d'Eau" - a dream of water, a fantastic journey between the skies and the seas, and a new story sketched upon crystalline blue versions of Eaux d'Ete for men and women.

In the L'Eau d'Issey 3.4 oz Eau de Toilette pour L'Ete, ($60.00 USD) The sensual sweetness of rose water blends with succulent pear for a mouth- watering start. Awash in a velvety effusion of Peony and Carnation, Osmanthus shines forth, warmed by precious woods.

In the L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme 4.2 oz Eau de Toilette pour L'Ete, ($56.00) frosty zests of yuzu and mandarin bubble with vivacity. Sprinkled with aromas of ebullient cardamom and aromatic sage, the Eau becomes an invigorating wave, cooled by marine accents of vetiver and ambergris.

All fragrances are available May 1st, at Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Sephora stores nationwide.

Beaute Prestige International was created in 1992 to augment Shiseido's fragrance business with the development of new designer fragrance brands. Beginning with Issey Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey in 1992, the company has slowly and steadily built its brand portfolio to include French designer Jean Paul Gaultier's CLASSIQUE (1993) and American designer Narciso Rodriguez' 'for her' 10 years later.

In 2006, BPI USA was selected to administer the sales and distribution of the John Varvatos fragrance and skincare brands, an existing Shiseido subsidiary. Today, Beaute Prestige International's fragrance brands can be found in fine department and specialty stores nationwide.
