When an angel sings
The voice of heaven rings.
As the hosts of heaven sing
Heralding the dawn of Spring
And I hear the Seraphim plucking their strings
As the Cherubim clap and flap their wings.
Behold the children of paradise
Dancing and rejoicing in endless praise.
Their voices echo throughout the universe
Hallelujah!The King of Glory reigns
And so we all rejoice when an angel sings.
For the good news the angel brings.
N.B:
Yesterday,I promised to compose and publish "When An Angel Sings" for Kye Lee Koi my Malaysian Muse before she left to celebrate the Chinese New Year in her home town. "When Angel Sings" is the theme song of one of my musicals of the same title. The story of a African-American girl who followed her dream from Harlem to a music school on Long Island and had to mop the floors of the school to pay her school fees until she won a scholarship.
