Before You Deflower Me

Before You Deflower Me

Before you deflower me
Have you paid my dowry?
For how can you possess a virgin land without the deeds?
For I am not yours until you have proven your worthiness
Not by mere words or sheer sweat in the heat of your lust
But by proof of your labour and valour in my conquest
For my treasure is not for any man’s pleasure
Until you can prove that you are worthy of me in full measure.
