The leading lady of the silver screen Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress to add to the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for her classic performance as "Nina Sayers" in Black Swan.



"I want to thank my parents ... for giving me my life," she said with a smile. "And for giving me the opportunity to work."
