"Diana had a spirit that was larger than life. I am honored to celebrate the legacy of such a dynamic and remarkable woman through my art, and am deeply grateful for the support of the incredible individuals who agreed to participate in this very special project," said Britto. "These 10 paintings reflect her captivating humor, style, elegance and grace, and through them I am proud to honor the late Princess' legacy by donating the proceeds of the sales of these paintings to charitable organizations that will further Diana's philanthropic mission."

Celebrities who lent their support include Sir Anthony Hopkins, Senator Hillary Clinton, renowned architect Frank Gehry, actor David Caruso, acclaimed singer and actress Liza Minelli, actress Demi Moore, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Sargeant and Eunice Kennedy Shriver, supermodel Petra Nemcova and California First Lady Maria Shriver.

"The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund is very pleased that Romero Britto has decided to donate the proceeds of these incredibly unique portraits of Princess Diana to the fund. Everybody involved in this project should be aware that we will use this money to support the humanitarian causes that Diana was involved with," said Paul Hensby, Head of Media Campaigns and Communications, Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.

The 40 inch x 30 inch, acrylic on canvas paintings pay homage to the late cultural icon, and are filled with brilliant color and intricate detail. The paintings are available for sale, and are on display at the Opera Gallery in Paris. They will then travel to London and be placed on exhibition. Proceeds from the sale of each painting will benefit the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund in London and the Landmine Survivors Network, which the late princess supported.

"Landmine Survivors Network is deeply grateful for Romero Britto's creative vision and generosity to honor Princess Diana's legacy of compassion. Ten years after the Princess launched our first support network in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the survivors she met continue to celebrate Diana's powerful presence and appeal for a world free of landmines," said Jerry White, LSN Co-Founder and Executive Director.
