Naomi Campbell is the New Face of Yves Saint-Laurent

While Naomi Campbell was on Friday June 20, 2008, sentenced to 200 hours of community service for assaulting a police constable inside Terminal 5 of the Heathrow on April 3, 2008 and still under the global ban of the British Airways, the news broke that Naomi Campbell is going to be the new face of Yves Saint-Laurent. She is going to be serving her sentence with her head raised high sneering at the British Airway and still walking tall as the most famous black model in the world!

While I was still thinking of how to pay tribute to the late Pa Steve Rhodes (April 8, 1926 –May 29, 2008), the Nigerian icon of choral music and founder of the famous Steve Rhodes Voices,
the news that Yves Henri Donat Mathieu Saint Laurent (August 1, 1936 – June 1, 2008) has passed away in Paris Sunday night shook the fashion world. Yves Saint Laurent was the fashion icon of the golden age of haute couture from the 1960s to the 1980s and whatever has followed have been mere parodies of the golden era in fashion history.
May their great souls rest in peace.

Paris police yesterday, found a body in the River Seine suspected to be the missing Guinean super model Katoucha Niane, the former beloved muse of fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent. The 47-year-old Katoucha Niane, known as the "Black Princess" had been missing from her home on a central stretch of the river on the night of February 1.

The police said, the mother-of-three disappeared after being dropped off from a party and her handbag was later recovered near her houseboat.
