The leading lady of the silver screen Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress to add to the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for her classic performance as "Nina Sayers" in Black Swan.

Sleeping and waking up with the same person for the rest of your life is the romantic dream of lovers and millions have been doing so since Adam and Eve. But not all romantic dreams come true as millions of single parents and separated lovers can testify today.

How do you know that a particular person would be the right man or woman to sleep and wake with for the rest of your life without being bored or tired of the person?



It was only once that I saw my my father and mother of blessed memory quarreling and sleeping apart in the same room until they died and I wished for such a beautiful and wonderful marriage when I was growing up since they gave me a happy childhood. And the only Nigerian lady I can sleep and wake up with for the rest of my life has been my close friend for 14 years now. But I believe in free love and may not end up with only one mother of my children. So, I do not see myself sleeping and waking up with the same woman for the rest of my life.



I did it for two months with the lady I was engaged to 12 years ago and I was happy. But we separated, because she did not want the kind of big picture life I wanted. She was not fashionable enough and wanted a simple Nigerian life that was not romantic enough for me. Three other young ladies also fell by the way side after her. And I have decided to dump monogamy for good and I now prefer to sleep and wake up with at least four different women from four different continents.

A young woman told me that her first love broke up with her, because she refused to have sex with him. So, she knew that all he was really after was to lay her.

True love exists, whether you believe it or not.

My mother was not my father's first love.
My father's first love gave him a love child even before he met and married only my mother.

A female medical doctor recently met her true love, a man whose formal education only stopped at the primary school and they are happily married today. They are both Nigerians.


A young woman from a wealthy family insisted that her true love was a poor trader from an unknown family. Her arrogant uncle used a pistol to shoot and scare him away, but she refused to let him go and today both of them are the Coscharis Group, a billion dollar company in Nigeria.

The other day, a well bred young man who is living and working in Lagos told me that he has met his true love in unusual circumstances. She is the youngest vice principal in Nigeria at only 25 and he is with the ministry of education. She was born and bred in Warri and came to Lagos for the first time last August for a seminar where they met. And since they met their life has been marked by favours and miracles. She confessed that if she never came to Lagos, they would have ended up with different persons. But God made it possible for them to meet.

The list of the examples of true love is endless.

If you have not found your true love, don't worry.
Just pray and wish for both of you to meet.
But if you are not patient enough to wait for your true love, you may end up with someone else.

Scarlett Johansson to present 83rd Academy Awards®



The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said that Hollywood sex symbol Scarlett Johansson will be one of the presenters for the 83rd Academy Awards®, according to the telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer.

These eight acts will travel to New York City in March to record two studio songs and perform for Rolling Stone and AOL Music editors, Atlantic A&R executives, and other industry professionals. Readers' votes will select the four acts to continue to the next round, in which the advancing acts will return to New York City in April to record and perform another song. The final two acts will be chosen by readers' votes and will perform at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June. Tom Hooper's captivating British drama, The King’s Speech was named Best Film at the 2011 Orange British Academy Film Awards, held at London’s Royal Opera House on Sunday night 13 February 2011.

The digital extensions for this year's special sections of the Swimsuit issue include:

* Bachelor Party: The Valentine's Day episode of ABC's The Bachelor featured three bachelorettes in an intense, 10-hour Swimsuit photo shoot from Anguillla. Readers on the tablet are treated to bonus galleries and video of all three girls.
* 2012 Rookie Model Search: Eight models aim for a coveted spot in the rookie class of next year's issue. The best part: the readers get to vote on who it should be, either by going to SI.com/modelsearch (which features video profiles of all eight girls) or using the Microsoft Tag reader app on their smart phones.

More about Shayk: A native of Yemanzhelinsk, a village that doesn't show up on most maps, the brown-haired, green-eyed Shayk made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2007 and has appeared in every Swimsuit issue since. Her previous photo shoot locations have included Tucson (2007); St. Petersburg, Russia (2008); Naples, Italy (2009); Chile's Atacama Desert (2010); and Maui and the Philippines (both 2011). Shayk's bathing suit in the 2011 cover photo was designed by Sauvage by Elizabeth Southwood, and her bracelet was made by Los Angeles-based Ettika.
